Activity 8: Defying the Odds
This week for the summer learning journey day 3 week, was all about using 5 questions to interview a basketball player. Most of the questions were mainly using the 5 W 's and the H. I thought really hard when choosing these question, like i was really going to ask him these questions.

Kia ora Matthew,
ReplyDeleteIt is lovely meeting you! I am so excited that you are joining us for the Summer Learning Journey 2019-2020. Have you done this programme before?
This is my first year joining the Summer Learning Journey, and I am so excited that I get to read over the Manaiakalani blogs.
I’m really looking forward to summer, aren't you? In my spare time I like spending time at the beach and hanging out with my friends. I also enjoy going for walks and I absolutely love cooking and baking. What are you looking forward to doing this summer?
I liked the way you wrote your questions. I can tell you put a lot of effort into writing them. I wonder what his answer would be for why he started playing basketball. You could be a journalist one day with these well written questions! :)
What made you chose Steve Adams? Is he a basketball player you follow? How awesome is it that he represents Rotorua, New Zealand on the world stage of basketball! So inspiring.

Talofa Matthew! Steve Adams would be a great person to interview, especially being a New Zealand basket-ball player he would be a more realistic choice. I think number 2 is a really good question to find out what started his career and would be something inspiring for other people who look up to him. Keep up the great blogging!

Hi Matthew,
ReplyDeleteI liked how you asked questions about what inspired him to play basketball, why he started playing, how long he's been playing and when he first played basketball. Basketball players can earn millions of dollars if they play professionally, would you want to become a professional basketball player?
