Tunnels


L.I: Is to learn the parts of a tunnels. This week for inquiry I was making a tunnel. First I had to get into a group of 4 but since there was not a even split so then my group had to get into a group of 5. after that we only had 5 types of material tape,spaghetti,straws,rubber ban and glad rap. Th idea we had in mind was to build a stand with spaghetti that will turn into a  were the glad rap can lay on, the next step for our tunnel is that we had to make the plat form for the car that is going into our tunnel. we had to make the tunnel rally tight because of all the sand going on top of it so that is were the glad rap comes in, so with then glad rap w had to put it on top of it so the sand doesn't go into our tunnel

Kiwi sport

                             Kiwi sport
L.I: learn about all skills we have done for our lessons and put it into a sequence. This week LS1 group B went to swimming. First i had to go to my instructor, then i had to go and find boogie board and  do some stream line. After that i had to try and think of a sequence, my sequence was stream line, free style, sculling, treating water and sculling on my back.once I had to done that I was racing with some of the swimming students it was a boy vs boy, then I won, then after my instructor mixed  it up a little it would be a girl vs boy so then I won my one an my other partner that I was racing before the person that I raced second lost his one. Last We were doing a dolphin dive in to the water, we did this because it doesn't really help with swimming but it is fun because so we could learn how a dolphin swims and acts like in the water.

Leviathan


LI: to write an exposition (persuasive text). This week for writing I had to make a exposition text. First I had to make a google doc showing the understanding of what i had to do and what it means.Then I had to choose a character and that was the leviathan. so than I had to do the skills that I have learnt.

L.I: Is to learn about the story of Odysseus. This week for reading I was learning a real legend named Odysseus. First i had to read the book about Odysseus. After that I had to make a copy of a slide named reading notes. Then I had to feel out the questions that I have been asked.

The next thing I had to do Is to make a DLO showing all the information that i have learnt. After that I had to make the design of it.

Kiwi Sport

L.I: Is learn the skills in a pool. This week LS1 group B wen to kiwi sport. first we had to go to our instructor. then we got teaches on how to do a stream line. after that i was been teaches we were doing treating water for 3 minuets. Last we were doing out own designs of swimming, like for an example if we wanted to do free style.

Kiwi Can

L.I: Is to show resilience. This week LS1 went to kiwi can, but this week we were out side playing fun games. First we played a game named arm linked, the rules of the game is that there would be one tagger and then the tagger has to try and tag as meany people as possible.

arm linked included team work and listing to peoples ideas. as the girls were doing a good job of being as a team listing to there ideas once they trapped someone into a corner and that is a real good idea, but as the boys working as a team they weren't they were there own ideas but never got any one.

The next game we played was called invisible touch. the rules of this game is that there would be 2 even teams, and then if the instructor of the game says 2,3,4 or 5 and the 5 first people in front of the line then they would have to run around something and then the instructor of the game would say someone name and then the person that has been called out would have the ball and would have to try  and get to the other side
 

Duffy visit

L.I Is to learn about Michel mulipola personality. This week the school went to watch a Duffy show. First we had to sing a song for the visitors, his name was Michel mulipola. Michel mulipola was a person that loved to read comics when he was a little kid he also liked to draw.

But then he just decided to live his dream so he got into a different tournament like gaming in teaken 7. his dream was finally came true started making books like comic books and he had to draw them his self with no help but just a little.

So then on he kept on going into tournament for fortnite as he said he was a geek so if he found a game that was geeky than he will fall in love with it, but with all the jobs he had the only job mostly people did not know is that he was a professional wrestler and a semi professional gamer, and then he started to make books for the WWE community. 

Defensive strustures


L.I: Is to learn about the different types of bombs. This week I was learning about the bombs and the structure of it. I learnt  that the base of a bomb is a type of circle shape, there was also different bombs like dumb bombs, dumb bombs got there name from how they act because how they act is just dumb because they don't think they just go any were and hope for the most luck.

there are also another type of bomb named smart bombs, there could be types like guided missiles, guided missiles are missiles were you can control them well flying. this works by the different types of materials in them and the senses in them.

There also layers to be included that forms the shape,turrets and land mines, these different types of layers are defences that can protect the shot or the foundation. There could also be a stage were it doesn't work and you might have to re do your ammo. I also learnt this by Isaac teaching us the foundation and how the bullets are shot .

Swimming


L.I: Is to learn how to swim. This week for kiwi sport the year 6 went to swimming. First we were learning about kicking a board. the first style with the board was kicking with our heads and putting our thumbs at the bottom of the board and all fingers ontop. Next we were doing normal free style with no board. Last we were playing a game were we had to answer questions to go find 3 things out of the water then put them into the bucket then come back.

Analogue

                       
L.I: To convert analogue to digital clocks. This week for maths I was learning how to convert dialog into digital clocks. First I had to make a google slide showing the understanding of what dialog means. and also we had to make a typical day about what we were doing on each time.

Kiwi Can



L.I: Is to learn about perseverance. This week LS1 went to kiwi can. First we all had to sit down well waiting for a our energiser. Then once we were sitting we had to go into a circle.  We had to go into a circle because we were playing a game named add master.

The rules of the game add master is that there would one person and another person, the two people facing each other will have to trow any number of fingers and then once both of the two people have done that then both of them would try and add there fingers up and try and say the answer as fast as they could.

Then we played another game named card tower. the rules of the game is that there would be 4 groups with even amount of people, this game also includes team work and trying to calm down with your team. The point of this game was that to build a tower with your team and collaborating together with people you don't play with.

Last we played a game named GKQ but with a master so basically GKQ master. The rules of the game is that there would be every one would be in a circle and then one person will start then the in structure of the game will have to ask questions and the first person to get it right moves on to the next person.

L.I: Is to tell the difference about different types of roads. This week for inquiry I was learning how to tell the difference about different types of roads. The roads that I was learning about was highways, motorways and roads. We had to tell information about each road and tell how it is different. I learnt this by watching a video showing a real information about the roads and it also showed me how roads were designed.

Tongan language week


L.I: Is to learn about Tongan language week. This week for Tongan language week I was learning about how to speak Tongan. First I had to make a google drawing that represents Tonga, and it could also add with picture with tongan.

kiwi Can

L.I: is to learn perseverance. This week for kiwi can I was learning how to do perseverance. First I had to go on the matt then were split into different groups because we were playing a game, the rules were simple there would be 4 groups and they would have even amounts of people in them then there would be different types of quizzes.

 We also played another game named hoop score, the rules of this game is simple the rules of the game is when you would have to even groups and then there would be cones scattered all over the floor and you would only have to chances to get as meany points as you can get.

Last we played another game named GKQ, the rules of the game is simple there will be 4 lines and the first 4 people in front of each line they would have to answer some questions that may include some buzzers you could create your own and then if you say your buzzer then it would be your turn to speak.

Ma'afu


L.I: Is to make a DLO showing the lessons from a text. This week for reading I was learning about how to learn lessons from a text. First I had to make a google drawing showing the lessons and what the story is about. But the very first thing I had to do was to read a book because you can't find lessons from not reading a book, with the book I was reading I had to try and pick out the most important detailed information. Then i had to find lessons from the book by the important words I picked out.The book that I read was Ma'afu that book was a really good book because it is a myth and it tells really good things about there personalty like how they are brave enough to fight the most powerful creature in Tonga.

France banning devices

L.I: Is to identify the purpose of a narrative. This week for reading I was learning how to give feedback  on each peoples argument. To give feed back on other peoples opinion I had to make a google doc that I had to make a statement and also a causal factor,b a statement is when you agree on something or you don't disagree, but the hole meaning of a statement is that it is your own opinion, and with a causal factor it is when you have something to say about something or else it is  your proof.

Swimming

L.I: Is to learn how to hold a skill as long as we could. This week for kiwi sport LS1 went to swimming. First we had to go to  our instructors and listen on what  they want us to do. We also had different levels that had to do with our swimming skills level 1, 2 and 3.

After that I  had to go to level 3. at level 3 we were learning  how to  treat water by not touching the ground and circling your feet around and around. Then we learnt another skill  named sculling,  this skill is when  you have to do thumbs up and thumbs down in the water without touching the ground.

Highway traffic


L.I: Is to learn about how traffic lights work. This week for inquiry I had to play a game and understand the parts if it. Then I had to have a little play on it understanding the things that really happen in the world. Traffic lights are in the world so the drivers can know when to go without crashing.
