Fraction Questions

                     
L.I:  Is to learn how to use thirds, fourths and fifths as a question. This week for maths I was learn how to use thirds, fourths and fifths as a question. First I had to make a google slide, then make questions that people can answer and that all so make sense. After that I had to re read the questions to make sure the answer make sense and the answer is the answer that we thought of.

Adding Fraction

                   
LI: to add and subtract with like and unlike denominators. This week for maths I was learning how to add fraction. First I had to learn about adding fractions by watch and explanation. First I had to make a slide showing how to add fractions. Then I had to choose 2 fractions to add then show all the skills I have  learnt from the video and the  strategies from it.

Multiplying Fractions

                          
LI-Find fractions of whole number amounts using multiplication and division. This week for maths I was learning how to divide fractions. To divide a fraction I had to make my own fraction. Then I had to multiply the fraction by any number. Then the answer I would get will be a improper fraction, an improper fraction is a fraction were the denominator is bigger than the numerator. After that I changed the improper fraction into into a mixed number by dividing the the fraction and the times table. That would give me an answer

Fractions

L.I Is to understand proper, Improper and equivalent fractions. This week for math I had learn what a fraction is and the parts of it, a fraction is equal pieces of a whole. First I had to make a copy of a google drawing about the fractions that I am doing. Next I had to add information about the proper,mixed numbers and improper fraction. Then I had to add pictures of the objects to show what it looked like. After that I had to make another copy of a google drawing. The google drawing was all about the percentages of one fraction for an example 1/10 goes into 10%, for an example 1/5 goes to 5.0.

L.I:count in fractions forwards and backwards to a named whole number. This week for math I learned the parts of a fraction. The parts of a fraction is the numerator and denominator. the numerator is how much you have of the object or something. The denominator is the amount of cut up pieces.
