Activity 9: Achieving our Dreams

This week for the summer learning journey week 1 day 3, was all about giving advice towards other people that have dream job. The person that I gave advice to is karlos's, when he wants to grow up he wants to be a builder. This was very hard because I didn't know what kind of advice to give him. but other then that I have completed the last activity for week 1 day 3.

  2. Kia Ora Matthew,

I’m Dani, one of the blog commenters for the Kaikohekohe cluster for the Summer Learning Journey. I have heard some great things about the students at Panmure Bridge School so I thought I would jump on and check out some blog posts.

I think you have done a good job finding different ways that you will support Karlo so that he can become a builder. I know when I was training to be a teacher, my family and friends always encouraged me to keep going and it helped me. So even if you don’t know how to exactly help, just being there and saying encouraging things, can help! What is your dream job?

I just wanted to let you know that this is the last day that all of the blog commenters are working for 2019! We are all taking some time to hang out with whanau and to celebrate the holidays. But everyone will be back on January 6th so keep blogging and we can read them when we get back!

I hope I get to read more of your blog posts soon,

    Dani

  4. Hello Matthew, well done on making this poster about the ways you can support Karlos's building career. It's great to see people choosing to talk about their friends dream job and how they can help because it shows you're actually a really good friend. Do you know if Karlos will be continuing the Summer Learning Journey as well?

  6. Hi Matthew!
Its great to see that you are doing the SLJ. I liked reading your blogpost as you included everything that was needed. If you help Karlos with his job, make sure to help him with things he doesn't know already.
    Keep the work up!
    Blog you later!

  7. Hi Matthew,
I liked how you said that you could help Karlos achieve his goal by supporting him, giving him advice, teach him things and help him develop. What's your dream job?
