Art colouring book

L.I: To experiment with colours.

This morning room 5 came up to LS2 for a art experiment. We had to experiment with different pictures on the site Art colouring Book. We started of with a simple picture that made us confident enough to paint harder pictures. it was then we started to paint harder pictures which actually was fun, the picture that i painted is named young man in the costume of a majo. The thing that i liked about this is that i had fun and got to work with a perosn that is a room 5 student.

Provocation: Should masks be compulsory on NZ public transport?

LI: To identify and consider the two perspectives of this provocation to help me form an opinion.

A provocation is an action or speech that triggers strong feelings about a topic. Today we considered both sides of the provocation, ‘Should masks be compulsory on NZ public transport?’ We then used that infomration to help us form an opinion that we could justify with evidence. I think that we should make masks compulsory because we are still in a time where we find traces of Covid19: A virus that spreads easily.

Charge of the Light brigade.

L.I: Is to have a clear understanding on what happened in the war.

This week for reading we were learning about the famous war that happened in Crimean. This DLO represents the story behind the war and facts about it. We had to work in groups of 3 which then could make us feel more confident when making this and give feedback to each other. The thing that we really liked about this task is how we got to find out interesting things about the war and the people in it. 60 This DLO can give other people a clear picture on what happened, where it happened and more.

L.I: Is to find the most efficient strategy to find the answer

This term for week 5 we were getting into more challenging questions in maths. We had a variety of questions that tested our skills on how to work with other people we dont normally work with. We were in separate groups that had a maximum of 7 people. Our groups had to work collaboratively together to find the answer to a problem or give feedback to our group. The thing that I really liked about this weeks maths is how i got to work with new people that I know i work really well with now. It also gave me an opportunity to work with new people other then my friends.
