Provocation: Should masks be compulsory on NZ public transport?
LI: To identify and consider the two perspectives of this provocation to help me form an opinion.
A provocation is an action or speech that triggers strong feelings about a topic. Today we considered both sides of the provocation, ‘Should masks be compulsory on NZ public transport?’ We then used that infomration to help us form an opinion that we could justify with evidence. I think that we should make masks compulsory because we are still in a time where we find traces of Covid19: A virus that spreads easily.

Charge of the Light brigade.
This week for reading we were learning about the famous war that happened in Crimean. This DLO represents the story behind the war and facts about it. We had to work in groups of 3 which then could make us feel more confident when making this and give feedback to each other. The thing that we really liked about this task is how we got to find out interesting things about the war and the people in it. 60 This DLO can give other people a clear picture on what happened, where it happened and more.

MRSCGREN
Our body's has a lot of qualities and different features. This week we were learning about the qualities of different living things which is MRS C GREN. This means Movement, Respiration, sensitivity, cell, growth, reproduction, excretion and nutrients. We had to explain the meaning of these different words and explain how the process works with living things. The thing that I liked about this task was how I got work in a group with my friends instead of explaining all those words.

All the information that we gathered I never knew about NZ. The thing that I liked about this reading task is that we got to do this with our group meaning we had the same level of skill in reading and will have the same understanding of the topic.

Sky Tower
This week for our home learning we used our researching and creative thinking to do this task. We started on finding 5 interesting facts about the tower. Then we had a task on making a new mascot for the sky tower so we combined our knowledge together to make our own. After that we chose a place in the sky tower that is exiting so we chose the bungy jump. We chose this one because it could be a fascinating thing to talk about on.

When I first went to Rainbows End I went into the kingdom and I had a blast. So this DLO tells you about the location and the reason we have height restrictions and the price of a family pass.
