The Thanks Giving
The Mayflower sailed out of Plymouth Harbour in England on September 6, 1620. The small sailing ship carried 102 pilgrims across the Atlantic ocean for 65 days to Plimouth in the New World . They had religious freedom now but life was hard, as they had to build or make everything they needed for survival from scratch. The winter made life hard and many people lost their lives, crops failed to grow and spirits were low. Some of the wampanoag tribe helped by giving advice and by bringing food. That next year the pilgrims harvest was much better. To celebrate they hunted for meat and turned many of their crops into delicious food, and invited the wampanoag tribe to join them in a feast of thanks giving.

A shoe's life
I can't believe I have to do this again. It’s going to be a hard day. I don’t want to have to smell the odour from my owners socks, as he walks for 5 hours. EWWWW! Gross I can taste the sweat dripping from inside his socks. Oh well, I hope I get replaced some day. I see the dairy. OOH, is that chocolate I can smell, yum. Finally I can see home, I get to relax before another hard days of work. Oh no. I can see I pile of wet mud on the ground. NOO! I hate this so much. We get inside, I SCREAM! “go in the direction of the washing machine,”as he slowly walked. YEAH! I can now have a nice shower. I hope this doesn’t happen again? But, if it does, ill run away.
For term 4 week 6 we had an interesting start to the morning. We had to write a story about what a shoe's life might be we call this Personification. We worked in partners but there was a twist we couldn't communicate with each other at all we had to just sit back to back. Which was very challenging, this was very fun because I really like challenges and try to find out a way to get the work done.

FoodPrint
This week we were introduced to foodrint. Food-print is a company that provides different kinds of food most likely healthy food. these sales come from different kinds of company's like cafes. The owner of this company came to visit PBS and tell us about her adventure on making her own company, food-print. The owner is Michal it took over 2 years to plan this out and 6 months of making a name and started to sale products, which is kind of like enterprise.
Michal also talked about food being wasted. There are around 1.3 billion tonnes of food wasted every year which goes into land fill then turns into decays and produces methane gas which goes to climate change. People waste a lot of like in New Zealand we waste 20 million loafs of bread each year. This is why Michal created a website called food-print, Food-print is an app to provide food at lower prices instead of wasting oversupply when demand has decreased.

Film Festival
This week we went to the manaiakalani film festival. Since we had new entry's we had to look after them for the afternoon so they don't get to exited and just run around. I loved it because we got to go on the nice comfortable seats all the way at the back with the recliners. My partner was Jeremiah, he was really sensible when coming to listing and siting.

Tennis
For term 4 week 4 we had our second session for this term. We had a warm up game that exercised our legs and arms. The aim of the is to use your ears because as soon as he says ball you would have to grab the ball that is between you and your partner. After that we worked on a skill named the volley, we were given a lot of instructions about how to do this. The one thing that I like about this weeks tennis practise is that we got to hang out with my friends.

Firework saftey
Firework safety is a really important thing when it comes to using it. We started on our presentation to share with room 3. We shared the message to room 3 which they could possibly follow it or not but in my hopes they follow on about what we said. The one thing that I like about what we did was Presenting to room 3 because when ever I presentation I always like people to smile.

Wasp life Cycle
Did you know that the queen wasp stays in her nest and lays eggs? Well since I was talking about wasp I just learnt about information about wasp. In reading my group read a story about how wasp live there life. So it starts of the queen wasp hibernating, then finds a nice and warm place to stay. So she gathers up some wood she finds and mixes it with her saliva. Makes the nest lays some eggs and when they hatch they become workers or drones so they would have to find food and look after the nest for the queen wasp, sometimes the queen wasp fight to the death with another queen wasp. Did you know scientist have found around 6 queen wasp dead in a single nest.

Need and Want
For term 4 week 3's inquiry we had to compare the difference between need and want. This was very interesting because, to explain the difference we kept saying need or want in what they mean. we were not supposed to do that because you use the word that your trying to explain into your explaining. We worked into a group which got us more confident about what we were going to say since we have more heads.

Tech (Robotics)
For term 4 week 3 of robotics we started to code our Mbots to form a figure-8 and a circle. I found this challenge hard because of the code we were going to use but luckily he gave us some help and feed back. I think everybody did well on doing this challenge and also me, the one thing good about today was how I got to learn how to make the Mbot turn code into a circle.
