RazKids

L.I:Is to talk about my book.This week I read a book named Carlos joins the team.this book was all about when he joined a baseball team.but there was a problem he had a friend that had a brithday and it was on the same day as his birthday party.but he choose to go to his baseball team but then his friend came and gave him some cake for trying his best in base ball.

This week we were doing commenting.I commented on Chris is blog post his blog post was very good but I told him if he could just add more information and tell us what things are.I liked this blog post because it made seance and simple to read.

The More, the Merrier?

If I would have nine siblings i will feel happy because it would be fun to play with the, And i would enjoy being a member of a such large family because I would be safe around them and they would always be my side and I will do they same.


This week we had to write about what it might feel if I had nine siblings for summer learning journey. We had to talk about if I would enjoy it or not. Also if we would enjoy being a member to a large family and Why or Why not.

Special Meals

This week we had to write about what were are favorite food for summer learning journey. All we had to do is blog about what is your favorite food and if I want I could put the recipes down as I did.





The recipe for Chocolate and ingredients

Wharepuni the different about it to my house is the design,how it was built,The space in it and why it was made. The similarity to my house and the wharepuni is the roof,its a house,its made to live in and its made for people to live in.

Waka ama

I would not want to do waka ama because i might not have the strength or the momentum, And also i would might not be good,And also on day 1 for racing i might be going crazy because i would not have any training.

Setting Sail

My trip to find a new country on a waka was terrifying because this would be my first time and i would be going away from my home and my country. This was a long voyage then I finally found an country and the I named it New Zealand but the first people there were the Maori people.



This week we did a summer learning Journey blog post. we had to make a blog post about what it might feel like if I would go away from my country and go on a waka and find another country and name it. 

Maui and the giant fish

Fact: Maui's brothers were making excuses about how Maui couldn't come like "You would take up all the room in the waka and the fish won't fit" said Maui's brother.
 
Fact 2: As Maui was asking his brothers if he could have some bait the brothers just laughed then Maui clenched his hand and hit himself in the nose and bled for his blood to be his bait.


Facts 3: As Maui said look after my fish and i will come back with our people the brothers agreed. As soon as Maui came the brothers were copping the the giant fish greedily.

Kiwi sport

L.I is to have fun at kiwi sport. this week we went to kiwi sport. This was our last day of kiwi sport. also on the last day we had a fun day we played games and other things. we had no more skills to learn so we had to play games.then we had to rally on  1 on 1 then it was 2 on 2. Then it was the end every one had a great time.

Kiwi Sport

                             Kiwi Sport

L.I is to learn a new skill. this week we went to kiwi sport. We had to learn a new skill, But first we had to get into partners. then he told us the new skill was the back hand lift. Then Kevin who was our teacher for batmeing ten told us how to do it. Then we had to have a try with our partners. Then once we have done that we had a 1 on 1 challenge. after that it was a 2 on 2 challenge. Then it was the end of kiwi.

Kiwi can

L.I is to communicate respectfully. This week we went to kiwi can. This kiwi can session was all about respect and all we had been doing was playing games to show us how to communicate respectfully. We had to get into 2 groups that are even if it wasn't even then 1 person then they have to go into another team. Then we had to play a game. some people didn't follow the rules but every one had a great time at kiwi can.

Origami design

LI: to write a recount about making origami cranes. This week we did a writing session. This writing session was all about making something with origami. We learned this by watching a video that Mr Wong did and then he send the video to the people who were doing it by themselves. then we had to watch  the video so we could do it. Then the rest of the people are to watch Mr Wong to see how to do it. Then we had to check our work and also the changes i made was things that seemed the same meaning.

3 Roles

LI To classify personal relationships. This week we did an inquiry session. This inquiry session was all about interacting with things we have been doing in the past 5 weeks. We had to choose a topic for our work so we could do some research on it. Then we had to show what these people do for our family.

Daily onformation

L.I: To use a range of comprehension to go deeper into a text. This week for reading we have been looking at the 6 news categories. National, International, Business, Sports, Entertainment and Weather. This week we had to get into groups and create a DLO or website including each of the topics but except for Weather. The leaders/editors of the groups were the people from Rudolph the Reading Reindeer's. Victoria, Nyjah, Jack, Alex and Joseph but on the day that we were organizing who is in which group, Joseph was away. In my group I had Jonathan, Karlos, Matthew, Xavier and Mele. First we discussed who would be doing which category, what we were going to use to put all our information on and the title of our news paper. We agreed that we would be using a google slides and the title of our news paper would be - Daily Information. My job as editor was to make sure we the people in my group were doing their work correctly/properly and make sure their information is true and make sure it is not all copy and pasted. I worked on Entertainment, Xavier and Karlos worked on Business, Matthew worked on national, Jonathan worked on international and Mele worked on Sports. The newspaper had to include an attributed image so it could help the reader understand or have a view of what is going on or what it is, the date, a title for the newspaper and who it was was written by. Also, the event had to have happened anywhere from the 28th of November to the 4th of December.

This maths session was all about earning money and also if we had cheated or done something your not support to do the you will get find fro prices. we had different things you could get paid is to do prototec and other thing I did prototec.

L.I is to tell people what the story is all about.This week I read a book named Carlos and His Teacher.This book was all about what Carlos does with his teacher that is fun.they read,play and work.I like this book because it tells us what you can do with your teacher and how you can do it with your teacher.

LI: to design and conduct a statistical survey.This week we did a maths session. We had to get into partners and flip a coin or spin the wheel then we had to record it on a google sheet. then once we have done that we had to use pie graphs to show how much flips in total we have done all together in the one sheet.

5 Sentence Recount


LI: to use past tense to show something has happened.
LL: to improve recount writing.
LI:to improve oral language skills.
This week we did a writing session. this writing session was all about recounts. we had to write a recount about what we played on Monday this week, But we had to do a 5 sentence recount . We had 1 sentence for ravel, 3 for events and 1 for the ending. we had to take photos to how what happened and how we did. We had hula hoops the green ones were worth 1 point and the red hula hoop was worth 2 points, And if you miss the hula hoops then that is worth 0 points. The hula hoops were in a position it looked like a diamond shape. We had to trow the beanbag in a place that Mr Wong told us to throw. Then we had to get into lines the people who were in the front of the line were first to throw the beanbag. after that we all had to gather together and go back to class.

Survey and Test

LI: to compare and contrast a probability test with a statistical survey.This week we did a maths session.this maths session was all about surveys. we had to ask every one in my class what there favorite number is. Then once we done that we had to count all the same numbers in groups and see how many same numbers there are. For and example you have 4 sevens,7 tens and 8 fours. Then we had to roll the dice for the test so we can see how much same numbers there are and see how it works. Then we had to make a DLO.

We learned this by watching a video.We had to listen on what it said. Then after that the teacher talked to us and asked some questions on what past tense was. Then we watched another video. Then we had answer even more question. Then we had to do some work on how to connect past tense words into a sentence.

Fire station


L.I is to learn some thing new from fire fighters. This week we went to the fire station to have a visit.We had to walk all the way there it was a short walk. When we got there we had to meet the fire fighters.Then we had to say some questions then we had to go out side. Then after that we had to go and see the tools. and then we had to go and see the other side it was very exiting. Then we had to go and set on the concrete and he had to listen and Then we had different people come up and had a turn on the hose it was Jonathan,Andrew,Sandra and Fui. Then we had to listen to the fire fighter and see what he had to say.Then we had to go but first we said bye. Then we walked back to school.

Kiwi sport

L.I is to learn something new in kiwi sport. This week we went to kiwi sport.When we got there we we saw our teacher Kevin.First of we did a worm up to start us of. We played stuck in the mud. The taggers were Matthew and AungNaing. When we first started every one was screaming. then after 1 minute Matthew was tired.Then We had to stop. Kevin told us to get into partners and had to grab a shuttle and a racket each and get into partners. Then we had to have a go of going and having a go at challenging other people then we had t go it was very fun,Then we went back to class.

Kiwi can

This week we went to kiwi can.When we first got to kiwi can we started with getting into groups.There was blue white yellow and red. I went in the yellow team.Then we had a talk about what we did last week and what we were learning about. We were learning about integrity and respect.Then once we had done that we had to get into 2 groups. Yellow team went with red team and whit team went with blue team.then we had to play flip. The point of the game was there would be 2 teams that would have to flip the cone up side down and another team flipping the cones the right way.then we started. When the timer ran out we had to stop then count the cones. then the upside down cones won.Then we had to go back on the mat.Then we had to talk about what the point of the game was and we had to talk about what helped about that game. Then we had to go back to the class.

Police visit

This week we went to see the police.First we had a greeting with.Then we saw the helicopter and it started to blow all the grass with a strong wind.Then we had to stand up and had to walk around the helicopter for so we could look even closer so have a better look. Then we had a man talked about how long it has survived and how old the helicopter is.Then we had to stand back up again and sit back were we first were.Then they brung out the dogs. and they tested how smart they are. Then we saw the dog named kahu. Then kahu was biting the mans arm with arm shield on. then the dog let go and then we had to go back to the class.

First Mr wong told us the rules.the rules were to not let go of the stick. Also we were not allowed to move your feet.Then he set a example with Johnathan,Sandra and Xiaver.Then we started to play the stick game with our partners. It was a close game but it was a tie 5-5.After that we saw Mr Wong and Mr Oligvy challenge it was a good game but Mr Oligvy won.Then me and Aung Naing had a try but we lost.Then we challenged other people to test our strength it was very hard because they were very strong. Next we had to use our weak hand. It was very chrecky because that was the hand that you don't write with me and Aung Naing challenged it was a good game but Aung Naing won he was very good with his left hand and with his right hand.


Then it was time to go Mr Wong yeld, "Give me your sticks and come sit by me!!" Then everyone ran to Mr Wong then he told us to go back to the class and then the bell rang and then we all went home.This was a nice game because it was challenging.
